Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PtVPN handles account, order, connection, and website access data while providing cross-border access, international routes, and network acceleration subscriptions.

Last updated: August 2026

Scope and Processing Principles

This policy applies to the PtVPN marketing website, user panel, clients, and features directly related to subscription services. Data is processed to provide services, complete orders, protect account security, troubleshoot issues, and meet necessary obligations, with the scope limited to actual use.

PtVPN processes data only when required by a relevant feature and does not make information unrelated to service delivery a registration requirement. Different pages or client features may process different data categories. After a feature is no longer used, related data is handled according to the retention rules described in this policy.

Accounts, Orders, and Access Statistics

No email address is required to create an account; set a username and password to get started. The account system processes the username, authentication credentials, account status, and subscription status for login, plan activation, traffic accounting, account recovery, and security checks. Keep your login details secure.

When you purchase a subscription or traffic package, PtVPN stores the order items, amount, payment status, creation and completion times, and necessary transaction identifiers to deliver the service, reconcile accounts, process refunds, and resolve order disputes. Website access statistics may include visited pages, referring pages, browser and device categories, network address, approximate region, and button interactions. This data is used to understand page performance, investigate anomalies, and improve the user flow.

No-Logs Policy and Connection Information

PtVPN follows a no-logs policy. It does not record which websites users visit or retain communications, specific page addresses, DNS query contents, or routine connection history that could be used to reconstruct browsing activity. Route services do not build user profiles based on browsing content.

To establish connections, select routes, and calculate plan traffic, the system may process account status, the selected route, transferred data, and necessary operational information during an active connection. This information is used to deliver the service in real time and is not retained as a long-term, searchable browsing record. If a connection failure, security incident, or service abuse occurs, the system may process a limited amount of diagnostic information. Once the relevant purpose is complete, the information is deleted, aggregated, or de-identified.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website and user panel may use cookies or browser local storage to save login sessions, language preferences, interface state, and necessary security markers. Clients may also save account status, route selections, and application settings locally on the device to maintain the chosen configuration.

Clearing cookies or local storage may sign you out, reset preferences, or require configuration choices to be made again. Browsers generally allow users to view and clear this data. If necessary storage is disabled, some login, subscription management, or security features may not work properly.

Third-Party Payment Processing

PtVPN supports Alipay, WeChat, and USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant payment channel or its technology providers. Information submitted during payment is governed by their own policies. PtVPN generally receives the payment result, transaction identifier, and reconciliation information needed to complete an order, and does not directly control data processing on third-party payment pages.

Payment channels may retain relevant information for transaction verification, risk control, and applicable requirements. Review the privacy notice shown by the relevant channel before making a payment. PtVPN does not expand the scope of website access records based on the payment method used.

Data Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates

Account and subscription data is retained while the account is active and for as long as service delivery requires. Order information is retained for reconciliation, refunds, dispute handling, and necessary obligations. Access statistics, troubleshooting data, and security records are processed only for as long as needed for their purposes, then deleted, aggregated, or de-identified. Legal requirements, open orders, security investigations, or disputes may require some information to be retained longer.

To access, correct, or delete account information, log in to the user panel and submit a ticket. After a deletion request is completed, data that no longer needs to be processed will be removed from the account. Information that must be retained by law or remains relevant to an incomplete order, refund, or dispute will be handled after the corresponding purpose ends.

If this privacy policy changes, PtVPN will publish the updated content on this page and update the last-updated date at the top. Before continuing to use the service, review important changes concerning data categories, processing purposes, retention methods, or user rights.
